What is SEO and why is this so important for any businesses ? One answer : Google. As you know, whenever someone is looking for a product or a service (either online or offline), it's very rare that one is not typing his research in google. We all need to know more about this product we want to
buy, maybe find reviews, or we may need to find a plumber, a restaurant, or whatever close to our
home. Google has quickly became THE research tool that everybody uses (bye bye yellowpages !)
Now when you type a request (we call it a keyword) in google, you will see results in a certain
order, and of course people are likely to click and visit the sites that show up in the first results (and
usually only on the first page). So the goal for every businesses is to appear on the very first results
given by google, and that's why every businesses and any websites have to (or should) work on their
content and site structure in order to appear in a good position in google. We call it SEO (Search
Engine Optimization) and a lot of stuffs has already been written about this topic. And with this guide, I am going to show you how it is possible to reach this first page of google, and most importantly, how to stay on it on the long term.
